Angie Bullaro was raised in East Detroit, Michigan and attended college at Loyola University Chicago where she received a dual degree in French and International Cinema, Video, & New Media. During college she spent a semester living abroad in Paris and then in Rome. While in Rome she won a scholarship to film a documentary on Roma women in the education system in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Post-grad Angie was accepted into the highly competitive Teach for America program, and taught for two years at an elementary school in the South Bronx. During those two years she also ran a leadership program for 5th grade girls.
After her two year commitment with TFA Angie decided to re-focus on her love of film and writing, and now works full time as an actress and children's book author. She is in the process of trying to get two of her books published. You can also see her acting and hosting credits on her website www.angiebullaro.com.
Angie adores traveling more than almost anything. She has trekked all over Europe, volunteered in Haiti and Brazil, and has made her way across Africa. She loves to meet new people, experience different cultures, try all kinds of food, live outside the box, and always leave herself open for the unexpected.
