In 2008, prompted by separation from my wife, I decided it was time to move on. I wanted to get rid of the remnants of a past that was gone, and move on to the next chapter of life's adventure. I put my whole life up for sale... on eBay!
The auction received a huge amount of international publicity, including many TV appearances. I was interviewed on Australian breakfast TV (I lived in Perth at the time), English TV, and appeared on Good Morning America. "What will you do when you have sold your life?" I would often be asked in interviews.
"Pretty-much anything I like!" was often my response. I made a list of all the things I wanted to do, all the places I wanted to go, the people I wanted to meet, and the experiences I wanted to have.
This eventually grew into a personal challenge to achieve 100 goals in 100 weeks. My ultimate goal was to find a new life, a new happiness, and my own little bit of paradise.
I now live in Whitehorse in the Yukon Territory, Canada. I have just written a book about my incredible journey - "A LIFE SOLD - What ever happened to that guy who sold his whole life on eBay?" It is currently in pre-publication, due out within a week or two.
I love the new life I have found, but am ready now for the next exciting chapter of life. I believe that my next adventure is being a professional Paradise Hunter for a while!
